Super Relaxing, little houses at the beach

Great location 50 meters from amazing Nacpan beach. Felt relaxed by really quite atmosphere, although it takes only 15 minutes by foot to reach out bars (Mad Monkey Hostel). I like hammocks & sunbeds on the beach side. Houses are plain but clean and comfortable. If you like to wake up in the morning and see the empty gorgeous beach - its the place for you,

Breakfast was fine, but absolutely basic; same goes to any other dish - I would recommend to drop the price or add something more.

Loved the location in Nacpan

If your prefer a quiet sanctuary with nipa hut type accomodation (without aircon), this must be considered on your list.

They could have updated the nipa hut and the benches on the beach front to have a bit of modern touch. Improve the lighting outside

The hotel has huts with quite basic setup( only beds and bathroom). Electricity is a available from 6pm till 4 am. Windows are without glasses. It's ok to stay there for few nights. The hotel is located right on the beach. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is located approximately 500 meters away from the drop off point in Nacpan. You need to walk 500 meters by sand. It is ok if you have bagpacks, but if you have suitcases on wheels then it's better to request a ride from the hotel as tricycles do not go there.

Wonderful stay! loved it!

Jack's place was wonderful and we loved our stay here! The bungalow is very basic and there is only the bed and a side table in the room - but we were happy with it. We looooved falling asleep to the sound on the waves and lying int he beach hammocks reading a book during the day. The place is clean and nicely maintained with a local feel. The food is cheap and very good. This is the perfect place for a digital detox getaway! No phone reception or wifi - but as we knew this already when booking, it was no problem at all. Highly recommend!

Jack's place is the last hotel on the Nacpan beach so be prepared to walk a bit to get here. Do not take suitcases, backpack works much better :)

The place is quite and has a private beach. During the nights you can enjoy the milky way and the sound of the sea, romantic. The staff there were really nice and great breakfast.

Quiet paradise far from the crowds

Not many bungalows which means the place is quiet and calm The beach is very close and not crowded at all, with hammocks and lounge chairs The small restaurant of the hotel is cheap and the food is good There's a lot of space between the bungalows, good for intimacy and resting

The bungalows are quite basic, and the electricity is turned off during the day hence you cannot use the fan to have a cool wind during your nap. But the beach is so nice that you don't want to stay inside during the day anyway

Jack's Place was our first stop in Palawan.

Jack's Place was our first stop in Palawan. We spent there 2 nights. Cottage we stayed in was spacious, bed with a mosquito net, fan and there was a private bathroom and balcony. The view from the balcony and room stunning and Nacpan beach very beautiful.

We would have prefer to be able to close the windows. There were nets in the windows, but no glass or anything else. We happen to be there when it was very stormy and windy and felt cold at night as a result. Also there is no wifi - nowhere along the Nacpan beach. Which is perfect I just needed to access the internet due to work commitments and was unable to do so. We would also appreciate some storage unit for clothes.

Avoid, too expensive, not comfortable stay

Breakfast was okay. Location is good: cottage house is in front of the beach. 2 hammocks are available but make sure you get there early as otherwise it will be taken.

1) No wi-fi, no mobile signal, regardless of which mobile operator you use. 2) Since the house is made of wood/bamboo, the wind, sound of waves etc bothers your sleep. Maybe if the weather is not windy it might have been better. 3) the nets on the window are too thick and don't stop insect, we got many bites... 4) no hot water 5) electricity runs from 6pm till 4am, this point is not really negative but I missed it from the property description. 6) bed sheet set is of poor quality so you will be sweating. Plus imagine terrible wind with curtains flying all around... Not recommended.

Perfect spot.

Perfect spot. Lonely part of the Nacpan beach. Best place to stay if you want to avoid other tourists. The beach is great, no low tide.

Although we stayed four nights,no one ever changed or asked to clean the room. The cottages are pretty simple, the bamboo floor has gaps and there is only net in the windows so anything can get in.

Try something else in Nacpan

The location is great, right in front of the peaceful and beautiful Nacpan beach. The garden is also very well kept. Diner was very good - we recommend the restaurant for lunch or diner.

The room has never been cleaned up on a 4-night stay. There is no place to hang anything not even a shelf - everything must be on the floor. There is no water from the shower neither from the sink in the morning. I’m pretty sure there were some bed bugs since we were always scratching even with the mosquito net properly installed. No other option then eggs for breakfast. Once we asked for help organising a special boat trip, they pretended everything was okay as we wanted, they asked for the money in advance, but the trip was actually not possible due to some governmental rules. We got the money back, also their high commission, but it was quite stressful during the vacations.

„Die Bungalows sind wie beschrieben, einfach aber gut.

Die Bungalows sind wie beschrieben, einfach aber gut. Endlich einmal fließend Wasser, Dusche war hervorragend. Strom gibt's erst ab 19:00 und auch nur bis 05:00 in der früh. Die Bungalows sind am Ende des Nacpan Beach und mit dem Roller nur schwer zu erreichen. Die letzten ca. 6 Kilometer ist nur eine Schotterpiste und dann geht's zum Schluss nur noch durch den Sand. Ein letzter 10 Minuten Fussmarsch und schon ist man da. Nach El Nido ist die Fahrzeit eine gute Stunde.

Das sogenannte Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen. Fragt man nach einem Fruchtshake heißt es erstmal ja, möchte man einen bestellen gibt es doch keinen. Ebenso das Essen ist nicht zu empfehlen. Kleine Auswahl und es hat ewig gedauert bis das bestellte auf den Tisch kam. Von den Preisen ganz zu schweigen. Es war das schlechteste und teuerste Essen auf Palawan.

El silencio absoluto, más relajante no puede ser! Solo se oye el mar :))) Me quedaría a vivir aquí!

Estar sin corriente de día no pasa nada, pero el no tener cobertura es un poco latoso, ya que en mi caso me estuvieron intentando contactar por urgencia y no me dieron localizado... tienes q caminar bastante por la playa para coger señal. Y en el restaurante 2 días seguidos no tenían pescado fresco, pero lo que comí muy rico en Jack’s place.

« J'y retournerais sans hésiter ! »

Évasion au calme et séjour parfait... Mais pas assez long... Les bungalows sont au bout d'un chemin en sable où peu de monde s'aventure. C'est extrêmement calme, seul le vent ose troubler le silence. Ni Internet, ni téléphone, on est en vacances ! Les bungalows sont assez éloignés les uns des autres et tout le site est très propre. Lits confortables, grand espace dans le bungalow, il manquerait peut-être quelques étagères pour pouvoir ranger les affaires. La plage en face est magnifique. Nous y serions bien restés quelques jours de plus. Petit-déjeuner inclus avec la chambre.

Un tout petit sourire de quelques membres du staff serait bienvenue :)

La cituation, la vue.

Nous n'avons pas du tout aprécié le personnel, en effet, ils ne savent pas dire bonjour, des gens très désagréables et impolis. Le seul sourire que nous avons reçu, c' est pour nous prendre notre argent. Nous avons quitté cet hotel à la moitié de notre séjour. Nous avons trouvé un hotel pas loin de là, moins cher, bien plus confortable et un accueil très chaleureux. Nous ne recommandons absolument pas cet hotel à personne.
